Privacy Policy

Last updated August 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Helm Compounds LLC, doing business as Helm Compounds ("Helm Compounds", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website or place an order.

By using our site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you use the site, and information from cookies and similar technologies.

Information You Provide

Before you can browse product pages, our entry gate asks for your email address and requires you to check four affirmation checkboxes. We store your responses in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again on the same device, and we send your email address to our mailing list for marketing.

If you sign up for our newsletter through the footer or our coming soon page, we collect the email address you provide and add it to the same mailing list.

If you submit a wholesale inquiry, we collect your name, email address, company name, and message. That information creates a lead in our customer relationship system and triggers an email to our team.

If you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, any order notes you include, and the contents of your cart. That information creates an order in our order management system and triggers confirmation emails to you and to us.

Our platform includes the ability to create a customer account with an email address and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form. Account creation is not yet available through the website.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our site, we automatically collect information about your device and how you use the site, including browser type, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and referring pages. We also collect your IP address.

This information comes to us through our analytics provider and helps us understand how visitors use the site.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our site uses your browser's local storage to remember that you completed the entry agreement, so the gate does not show again on the same device and browser.

Our analytics provider may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may affect how parts of the site work.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to process and fulfill your orders, including confirming payment, arranging shipping, and communicating about order status.

If you create an account, we use your information to manage that account and let you sign in.

We use the email address you give us to send marketing messages about Helm Compounds, but only if you signed up for our mailing list or newsletter.

We use automatically collected information to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its design and content.

We use order and account information to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

We use information as needed to comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

3. How We Protect Your Information

We use encryption to protect information while it travels between your device and our servers.

Passwords for any customer account are stored only in hashed form, never as plain text.

Access to personal information is limited to team members and service providers who need it to do their jobs.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf: our order and customer relationship system, our transactional email provider, our analytics provider, our database and hosting providers, and the state tax authority's rate lookup service, which receives a shipping address so we can calculate the correct sales tax.

These providers may use your information only to provide the service we asked them to provide.

Legal Obligations

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business Transfers

If Helm Compounds LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will describe any such change in an updated version of this policy.
